I really love those adverts, but I've never really thought of them as serious. They bear no relation to how I think of knitting at all. I think it's a brilliant idea because nanas are reknown for their spoiling of grandchildren and the fact that they care deeply, so telling your child that nanas knit them is a great way to get kids to eat them without piling them full of sugar. And I think it refers to knitting in that the threads of cereal are knitted together, not knitting as in making scarves and blankets and socks and stuff. _________________ Knitting since 20th March...2010 - such a little nubcake |
